Okay, so I’m no expert, but music has a lot to do with rhyming.
That got me thinking about how some languages rhyme better than others, right? They have to. Some languages sound like a flow-y waterfall, and some sound like metal scraping together.
Wouldn’t a language with more vowels have a better chance of rhyming with something else? Like Hawaiian. It has fewer consonants than, like, any other language, or something. Someone should come up with a Hawaiian rap. I’d totally listen to that. It would sound like wiping my ass with silk.
And goddam, the word “consonants” is a hard one to spell. My millennial self just had to look that one up, and it took two tries for spell check to even recognize what I was going for.
