I feel sorry for British because they call biscuits cookies, so therefore they have no cookies. Only biscuits.
And while biscuits are nice, they are not cookies.
I’m going to go eat an Oreo now.

Other countries in the world call cookies biscuits. In Australia, a cookie is something light a small child would eat, whereas a biscuit is a proper food item, substantial enough to dip in your tea. I guess you have never eaten Ice Vovo, TimTam, Triple Wafer, Monte Carlo biscuits but we have tasted your American sweet treats.
