I have no idea what Greek food even is. I’m guessing Greek food has something to do with dill, yogurt, and chest hair.

Well, it’s not just that! People think that Greek food has to do solely with souvlaki, moussaka and ouzo. It’s about mixing up Cretan cheese with honey, tomatoes and cucumber and onion and Feta cheese to make a tasty, summer salad. It’s about the mix of the smells and the flavours…
So, if you went to a Greek restaurant which is run by Greeks who live abroad, you probably didn’t get the full picture of Greek food! I’m Greek, so I know!
P.S.: We don’t eat that much lamb. Just saying…
